To provide our hyperlocal community services, we collect:

• Profile Information: Display name, username, bio, locality name, and optional profile picture.
• Account Credentials: Username and password (safely encrypted and handled by Firebase Authentication). We do not store plain-text passwords in our databases.
• Published Content: Posts, comments, media attachments, and 1:1 chat messages sent between users.
• Device Token: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens to route push notifications to your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

We utilize the collected information strictly for:

• Displaying community feeds tailored to your specific locality.
• Routing instant chat messages to other users at your request.
• Sending push alerts for follows, comments, and direct messages.
• Moderating the platform and maintaining safety by processing user reports of inappropriate content or safety hazards.

3. Data Sharing and Protection

• No Third-Party Advertising: We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.
• Strict Tenant Isolation: Data from different localities is filtered at the database level to ensure cross-locality isolation.
• Secure Cloud Infrastructure: All data is stored in Google Cloud Firebase with strict security rules validating auth status and ownership.

4. User Control & Data Deletion

You own your data. At any time, you can edit your profile information (name, bio, locality) directly in the app. If you wish to delete your account or purge your user data permanently, please contact our support team.
